Who Is Aric B?

Aric B. Flemming Jr., also known as Aric B. is a singer/songwriter, vocal arranger, and producer. He is an R&B performer with various vocal styles (including Jazz, Pop, Soul and Gospel), and a recording artist from Decatur, Georgia. He's also a renown speaker, Harvard grad, and holds a doctorate degree from New York Seminary. The grandson of a musical Pastor, Aric has been singing since the age of 5. Throughout his musical journey, he has recorded, written, trained, and collaborated with Grammy-winning Producers whose credits range from Beyonce, H.E.R, Alicia Keys, and Chris Brown, to Janelle Monae, Eric Bellinger, Ledisi, Brandy, Jay-Z, and Teyana Taylor. 

As a student at Morehouse College, Aric B. collaborated with multiple up-and-coming creatives from the Metro Atlanta area in both Gospel and R&B networks. There he offered studio background vocals and supporting vocals at live concert venues, most notably for artists such as Geoffrey Golden, Kirk Franklin, Canton Jones, and Jessica Reedy. 

Aric B. later attended Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. There with University friends Gabe Foxx-Peck and Joshuah Campbell, he demoed background vocals for various projects including the Academy Award Nominated Song “Stand Up” from the Movie Harriet.

Aric B. is currently working on several musical projects, including his own R&B debut, collaborating with local artists, and performing around Metro Boston and throughout the New England area! He likewise performs with Nightshift Entertainment, a New England based Corporate Band servicing weddings and private events. He was the National Anthem singer for the Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees Game at Fenway Park in June 2024. His most recent performances include artist features at Grace By Nia in the Boston Seaport, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Harvard University, Tufts University, Ashford and Simpson's Sugar Bar (NY), Union Church,  and the world renown Boston Symphony Hall.
